2. Cartons

  • In August 2006, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the use of BugBan 9000, a water-based repulpable coating for paper and paperboard substrates, on the outside of corrugated surfaces, folding cartons as well as wood and corrugated pallets used in transporting food to eliminate insects before they can penetrate the package.
